Fort Pulaski – Civil War fort maintained by the National Park System, super place to visit with the kids in the morning before it gets too warm.

Cockspur Island Lighthouse – Can see from backside trail if you visit Fort Pulaski, must rent kayaks to get to islet, but an easy twenty minute paddle in the proper tide, call Fort Pulaski first as sometimes the Lighthouse is closed to preservation efforts

Tim’s Beach Gear – Bike rental and one of the best ways to see the entire island. Tip: bike the against the wind direction on 2nd Avenue out of the wind and hit the beach and let the wind do the work coming back. Lower tides are best.
